Slicer



Used for slicing onion cabbage, potatoes, carots,beet root etc. In sizes and shapes suitable for drying cooking.
It consists of a sheet-iron body housing an electric motor with belt transmission to the main shaft, an oil circuit brecker and a commutator with a push button, placed on special consoles. The cutting chamber with the cinduit which conveys the sliced vegetable is also housed in the body.
Interchangable discs with flat and cresent knives are fixed in the cutting chamber. The discs with flat knives is used for slicing fruit, the disc with cresent knives –cabbage, onions, potatoes, beet root etc.
The conveying auger momunted on the main shaft of the cutting chamber can not be disassembled. The knives are regulated by an adjusting screw with a view to obtaining a tree opening in accordance with the required thickness of the pieces.
Before starting the machine the respective disc is fixed. After tha the counterdisc with the central ring and the cone over this ring are places. The products to be sliced ar ewell washed in cold water, so that no sand is left on them, because it can demage the knives. Then they are poured into the hopper in sufficient quantities so that the counter-disc would be full. The machine is started by means of a screw before beginning the cutting process and before the products are poured in the hopper.
